ADM Net Earnings Down 89% for 2Q 2012; ‘Challenging Environment’ Noted

Archer Daniels Midland Co. January 31 reported financial results for the quarter ended December 31. The company reported net earnings of US$80 million, or 12¢ per share, both down 89% from the same period one year earlier.
