EPA: Palm Oil Biodiesel, Renewable Diesel Don’t Meet Minimum GHG Threshold under RFS

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) on January 27 published its “Notice of Data Availability Concerning Renewable Fuels Produced From Palm Oil Under the RFS Program,” which provides an opportunity for the industry to comment on the EPA’s analyses of palm oil used as a feedstock for biodiesel and renewable diesel under the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS).
