Toray Industries, Gevo Sign Bio-Based Paraxylene Off-Take Agreement for Bio-PET Production

Japanese chemical firm Toray Industries, Inc., in partnership with Englewood, Colo.-based bio-based isobutanol developer Gevo, Inc., announced June 27 it signed an off-take agreement for bio-based paraxylene (PX) produced at Gevo’s planned pilot plant.
