University of Hawaii to Receive US$6 Million to Further Biomass, Biofuel Research
U.S. Sens. Daniel K. Inouye and Daniel K. Akaka, and U.S. Reps. Mazie K. Hirono and Colleen Hanabusa jointly announced June 1 that the University of Hawaii’s College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources will receive US$6 million to continue efforts to convert grass and other biomass into sustainable, commercial biofuel.
