WHAT:

US BioEnergy continues to bring ethanol production to where it belongs - the heartland of America. Come join us for the Groundbreaking Ceremony of US Bio Dyersville on March 16, 2007 in Dyersville, Iowa. Dignified guests at the event include US BioEnergy CEO and President Gordon Ommen, Fagan Inc. CEO Ron Fagan and Mayor Heavens, among many others.

WHY:

The US must look to a long-term solution to lessen its dependence on foreign oil and decrease gasoline’s negative impact on the environment. Ethanol is a home-grown solution that is better for the environment, while creating jobs within the US. All cars that run on gasoline can safely use gas blended with 10% ethanol. Over the coming years, automotive manufacturers are expected to continue increasing the number of flex-fuel vehicles that will run on 85% ethanol. It's clean, it's safe and it’s the future.

US BioEnergy is headquartered in the Heartland. The groundbreaking of the Dyersville facility is another important step in helping the country reach into a new era of energy, economic and environmental vitality through innovative, efficient ethanol production, marketing and relationships.
